Dates & deadlines

UFV has three semesters per year:

Fall Semester: September to December
Winter Semester: January to April
Summer Semester: May to August (limited academic programs and course offerings / no English Language Studies (ELS) program)
               
When to apply? Apply early! Seats in many programs are limited and fill quickly.

How long will it take to process my application? Due to the high volume of applications received, please expect a longer than normal delay in processing your application.  In some cases, depending upon the program applied to, an application review process can take up to six weeks.

Will I get an offer of admission?  Meeting minimum program entrance requirements does not guarantee an offer of admission. Currently, CIS degree/diploma and Business degree/diploma programs are being assessed using a comptetitive admissions model.

Tuition fee deposit deadlines

Students who have received an offer of admission should be mindful of the following deadlines to secure their seat at UFV. Applicants who do not meet the deadline must re-apply to a future open semester.
