Study Permit - Study Direct Stream (SDS)

If you are a legal resident in China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines, Senegal and Vietnam you can apply to the Study Direct Stream (SDS) for a study permit.

The SDS is a joint project between Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) visa offices and Universities Canada (formerly known as Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (ACCC)).

We strongly advise you to take advantage of this new program when you apply for your study permit.

The SDS has very specific instructions designed to ensure program integrity and streamlined processing. Please review guidelines, requirements, and deadlines to make sure you qualify before applying.

It is important to follow the SDS procedure closely: submitting the wrong form or documents can cause undue delay. Follow all guidelines for fastest study permit processing.

UFV is awesome! It provides small classrooms for better student and prof interaction. You can get involved in clubs and associations. And if you have any problems, there are always helpful staff members who will support you.
